Module #9: Connection to the MySQL and PHP for Web Programming Group

    This week we were assigned to connect to a SQL database for the first time. Overall, the process was pretty straight-forward and I did not run into many problems. A funny thing happened actually, I tried to connect my SQL database but then realized I had not created a data table when I thought I had. Running into that problem was really my only challenge that I came across. It was a little difficult to get used to how the cPanel interface works, but once I figured that out it was smooth sailing. Overall, learning how to do this will prove to be a very useful tool in the future as a lot of software companies store data through a SQL database.
