Web Design for Design Group

This week, we were asked to further explain the exact details of the website that our groups are creating. While me and my partner have not yet come to a consensus on what exactly we will be doing - I will just continue off of last week's module. To better explain our project, we were given some questions to answer as listed below:

1. The Website objectives

2. Who are the audience for the site
3.  What is the content of the site
4. What interactivity the site will provide?
5. Design elements of the site: Layout, Colors, Typography, Images and Navigation you will provide to the site.

1. The objectives for my portfolio website are to create a place to show off myself and my work. This could be to inspire other artists or for future employers to analyze my work and my skill.

2. The direct audience for my site would be employers. However, I would also like for other designers to view my website as well.

3. The content of my site will be a bio about myself, my resume, graphic design portfolio, and web design portfolio. As well as links to my social media (including Facebook, Twitter, and GitHub).

4. The website will be very modern and simple. It will have the extended one-page design. I feel as if a website with multiple pages is outdated. The person viewing the site will be able to click on each design and get a description of the though process behind it.

5. The layout, like I said will be an extended one page design. I will use very light colors that are close to my favorite colors (such as teal and purple). I will mainly use my designs as the images for my site, but for the portion with my bio I will use a headshot of course. The navigation will be simple because all the user has to do is scroll. If the users needs to, I will provide a navigation sidebar to go to a specific part of the site.
